The village turned out to celebrate the postponed 10th-year celebration. The current owners and Manager Mossie Tattan took over in December 2011. Management invited locals and suppliers to join them for supper from The Field Kitchen and to party with them, thanking everyone for their ongoing support and celebrating their 10th anniversary together.
The fantastic community night, reminiscent of pre-pandemic nights at The Blackbird, saw the return of Ballycotton dancing to DJ Mossie. It was hard to imagine the night could get any better. However, management distributed a takeaway “make your own” Tayto sandwich pack—two slices of buttered slice pan and a pack of Cheese & Onion Taytos—at closing time. The perfect end to a perfect 10th-year celebration.
