On Saturday 6th September we hosted a coffee morning for Downs Syndrome Cork, Field of Dreams. It was run by a group of local supporters soon to embark on a Camino walk in support of this incredible facility.

The ‘Field of Dreams’ is a horticultural site managed in partnership with the Munster Agricultural Society, providing courses and work opportunities for adults with Down Syndrome and giving them the skills and experience needed to reach their potential.

It is a magical three-acre horticultural site built to meet specific needs, focusing on providing days that are productive, busy, meaningful and full of fun. €4,673 was raised through the support of our community and local businesses. The Down Syndrome Cork East Cork Coffee Morning fundraising team would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone.
