Visited for a second time and couldn’t wait to return. Really enjoyed the live music which was unexpected. Food was really enjoyable. I had Plaice Goujons which were amazing. Both my children had Chicken Goujons which were really good. Musician was entertaining and we all had a laugh. Good fun had by all.

We visited this bar while touring around cork...its just brilliant. While from the front it looks like a nice little irish pub.. When you go through to the back its amazing ! Had best fish and chips from their pop up type food cabin. Delicious! The owner of this bar should get a medal! It's so great!

Attended a session here the evening after the wedding. The craic was mighty. We got gorgeous food in the Field kitchen which is in the beer garden at the back of the pub. Wonderful fella playing the music called Joe and as I said the craic was mighty. Our Canadian new in-laws thought they had died and gone to Heaven.

Popped in here for a few drinks on a bank holiday Sunday evening. The atmosphere was electric there were 2 men singing & they really got the crowd going. There was a DJ afterwards & he absolutely rocked the place. The staff were fantastic. Definitely a must when visiting Ballycotton

Popped into the blackbird after a walk. The pub has a brilliant beer garden that can be fully covered if it rains. We had food from the food truck in the beer garden. Would recommend the scampi and fish and chips , absolutely delicious!

My husband and I ate here last Saturday evening. We started with Silver Hill duck spring rolls and garlic mussels followed by monkfish and chips with an amazing aioli on the side. It was one of the best meals we had in a long time and so reasonably priced. The couple working there were friendly and welcoming and to top it all off, a Rolling Stones C.D was playing in the background. We'll be back soon.
